You make a herbal family hike once a week - what makes you happiest on this hike?
Is there a moment that you will never forget? The most important thing for me is that the guests are happy. This is also reflected in the feedback I get. I am happy when I can fascinate and inspire our guests!
Do you have favorite herbs?
My favorite herb is the angelica! This is normally 300 meters high and grows wild with us. This plant is virus-repellent and has been recommended by Paracelsus. I personally make a tincture out of it. Second, I would like to mention my favorite tree: the Swiss stone pine. Unfortunately, there are no pine trees here. The stone pine is very soothing and can reduces the pulse.
Where do you collect the most herbs when you travel privately?
It's very different, I'm traveling all over the country. It always depends on what I want to collect. For example, I like to go to Feldkirch for wild garlic. On the way I am also a lot on Lake Lünersee and on the Tschengla, also in the Bregenzerwald. Important for me is that the soil was not fertilized, so that the herbs and plants are natural.
With whom do you like to go on a discovery tour?
My grandson is also very interested in our herbal and plant world. He knows a lot about them and loves to go exploring with me. He also often takes part in the herbal walks and can tell the guests a lot about the herbs.
