From the farm - Alp Parpfienz

The Parpfienz alpine pasture is located above Brand, at 1,528 m above sea level and has a grazing area of approx. 200 ha. The alpine pasture can be reached on foot in approx. 20 min. from the Dorfbahn mountain station. From the beginning of June to mid-September there are about 60 dairy cows, 140 cattle and 30 pigs on our alp. We process the milk into butter, sour cheese and the special alpine cheese "Lorenzitaler".
