My favorite activity in nature is ...
mountaineering in summer and autumn, ski touring in winter and spring. I love our mountains above all else. Being in the wild gives me strength for everyday life.

My art or culture tip...
The patronal feast on 15 August. I especially like it when the Trachtenkapelle Brand starts a musical wake-up call at 6:00 am in the morning. It's easy to get up there. At 10.00 o'clock begins the holy mass in the Brand parish church, which is musically framed by the Trachtenkapelle and makes it particularly solemn. After the fair begins at the school square, the festival has a brunch at the Trachtenkapelle. There not only guests from near and far, but also many locals meet.

My culinary highlight...
Genusserlebnis Brandnertal. Four Brandnertal chefs and one guest chef have joined forces to cook a 5-course gourmet dinner in one of the participating establishments. Every cook prepares a course. For me as a landlady, it was an unforgettable experience, as the five chefs worked diligently in the kitchen, helped each other to create and implemented ideas.

The best regional product for me is...
A Wiener Schnitzel from ‘Ländle-Kalb’ fried in the pan with delicious parsley potatoes and homemade cranberry jam accompanied by a crisp fresh salad. Served with a glass of Grüner Veltliner.

My favorite place to switch off...
The mountains. On arrival at the summit cross, you forget all the trouble of climbing and there are happy hormones unfolding. When descending, lie briefly in a flower meadow, close your eyes and just enjoy the warmth of the sun and the silence. That's damn good.

Do not miss...
Different walks in Brandnertal. A tour through the valley on the Thurner-Höhenweg, a detour to the Tschengla high plateau from where you enjoy a brilliant panoramic view of the Vorarlberg Alps and do not forget to make a detour to the Bürser Schlucht, which counts among the natural monuments of Europe

Brandnertal must see...
The Lünersee, the Burtschasattel, the Heimatmuseum Paarhof Buacher in Bürserberg, the Walser Ensemble of Brand with church, old schoolhouse and Pfarrhof.

The perfect start to the day...
When you wake up in the morning and think about what a delicious treasure it is to be alive, to breathe and to be able to rejoice.

For families, who would like to experience something very special together, I recommend...
In a safe place at the Alvierbach make a dam to create a small lake, maybe a bit in the water to ‘kneippen' and as the culmination a small campfire to grill sausages.

For me, the architecture of the Hotel Lün, the Hotel Tannleger and from the mountain restaurant Goona.
