The Kellenegg via ferrata in Brandnertal offers an excellent opportunity to experience your first climbing adventure. Only a few steps away from the center of Brand and the Brandnertal climbing park, this via ferrata leads over an 80-meter-long rock face and overcomes a height difference of 60 meters. The approach from the "Güterweg Kellenegg" takes just under 15 minutes - almost a luxury for via ferrata lovers. From the Brandnertal Kletterpark, you first head downhill for a few minutes before a hiking trail branches off in a southeasterly direction. The entrance is easy to find, and the climbing can begin. The most challenging section of the via ferrata belongs to category C and contains a slight overhang. The majority of the via ferrata is in difficulty level B and can be successfully completed in about 40 minutes. Experienced climbers will make relatively quick progress, but it is definitely worth stopping every now and then to enjoy the view. The steps are placed at appropriate intervals, which makes the via ferrata also suitable for beginners who already have some experience in via ferratas and have gotten used to the altitude. The necessary equipment can be rented at the Brandnertal Kletterpark.

Directions: park at the parking lot of the Dorfbahn in Brand, walk along the Alvier river to the climbing park, from there it is still about 15min. to the entrance. Alternatively you can go up to the climbing park in Brand and park at the tennis court "Älmele" (Schedlerhof 41, 6708 Brand)
