Winter hiking trail "Spielhahnweg" | Wald am Arlberg

This winter hiking trail starts at the mountain station of the Sonnenkopf cable car and leads along the ski slope crossing the drag lift with a subsequent slight ascent to a flat high plateau. Continue in a westerly direction, partly along the northern edge of the terrain, to the western end point of the tour. Very sunny and extremely quiet area with numerous resting benches and wonderful views of the Lechtal Alps as well as the Walgau, the Klostertal and up to the Arlberg.

Equipment

Sturdy shoes, warm clothing and walking sticks are recommended. Cell phone in case of emergency.

Sonnenkopf cable car valley station - ascent with the Sonnenkopf cable car - Sonnenkopf cable car mountain station - Spielhahn path - "Spielhahnplätzle" viewpoint - same route back.
