What does it mean to be a UNESCO Biosphere Park? Who is Burmenta? How is mountain cheese actually made? Take a guided tour of the biosphärenpark.haus, gain insight into Walser history and answers to all your questions about the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal and cheese production. Information documents for free withdrawal are available for interested participants. After the tour there is the possibility to buy regional products in the biosphärenpark.laden.

Date: by arrangement for groups of 15 or more paying persons
Meeting point: biosphärenpark.haus, Sunday
Duration: approx. 1 - 1 1/2 hours
Number of participants: from 15 persons, the bus driver goes free; large groups are divided into two smaller groups for the guided tour, max. 45 - 50 persons per appointment

Price:

  • Guided tour, cheese tasting and mountain/herbal tea € 11.50 per person
  • Guided tour, regional cold snack (cheese and sausage specialties, butter, chutneys and bread), including a non-alcoholic drink € 17.50 per person
  • Guided tour, coffee or tea and homemade cake according to season € 15.50 per person
