Basic Ski Touring Course on request

With the right technique, freeriding is fun even in difficult snow conditions. On these two days, you will improve your skiing skills in deep snow. Our state-certified ski instructors and ski guides will help you improve your skiing technique with personalised tips and exercises.

The Sonntag-Stein ski area (www.seilbahnen-sonntag.at) is the perfect place for freeriding: The varied north-facing slopes of the Glattmar and Gronggenkopf offer many downhill options in deep snow. You can perfect your technique there and on the first-class prepared pistes.

We also offer women's dates for this course, which does not include male participants...

Dates: on request

Location: Sonntag-Stein ski area

Meeting point: 09:00 at the Sonntag-Stein cable car valley station

Duration: 2 days, end of the event approx. 16:00 hrs

Included services: Course supervision by a state-certified ski guide

Services not included: Travel, ski pass / ski tour map for two days, catering

Equipment: You will receive an equipment list after your registration.

Note: We end each day at a cosy mountain hut in the ski area - the best opportunity to fortify yourself with a traditional Walser meal for the last descent and the journey home. Up on the mountain, after an eventful day in the snow, it tastes particularly good!

Participants: max. 7 participants

Requirements:
-Good skier on the piste
-Experience in deep snow

Target group:
Skiers who want to improve their technique off-piste or who cannot enjoy deep snow descents because the skills and experience gained on the piste cannot be transferred to off-piste descents. If you can ski red pistes with parallel skiing technique without any problems and even in difficult snow conditions, if you can't find your rhythm in deep snow, if your thighs burn after just a few turns or if you have the feeling that a better technique will bring more enjoyment in more challenging snow conditions, then this course is for you.

Registration deadline:
10 days before the start of the event (remaining places can also be booked at short notice)

We organise this course in cooperation with the Alpenverein Vorarlberg. If a date is already fully booked, there may still be places available on the Alpine Club's website.
