Basic Ski Touring Course on request

Ski touring on unspoilt deep snow slopes, explore secluded, snow-covered valleys and enjoy a unique descent after reaching the summit: These are experiences that are only possible away from the ski resorts. But to be able to ski safely in open terrain, you need knowledge and experience in this complex area of skiing. Over the course of two days, you will learn the basics of ski mountaineering in practice. From the necessary equipment, to the correct track layout, the correct interpretation of the avalanche report, the handling of safety equipment and behaviour in emergency situations.

Location: Sonntag-Stein ski area

Meeting point: 09:00 at the Sonntag-Stein cable car valley station

Duration: 2 days, end of the event approx. 16:00 hrs

Included services: Course supervision by a state-certified ski guide

Services not included: Travel, ski pass / ski tour map for two days, catering

Equipment: You will receive an equipment list after your registration.

Note: We end each day at a cosy mountain hut in the ski area - the best opportunity to fortify yourself with a traditional Walser meal for the last descent and the journey home. Up on the mountain, after an eventful day in the snow, it tastes particularly good!

Participants: max. 7 participants

Requirements:

-Good skier on the piste
-Downhill runs in easy terrain off the piste are easily achievable
-Condition for short ascents with touring skis (up to 300 metres in altitude)

3 persons € 350.00 each
