BERGaktiv Hike to three Walser Alps

After taking the hiking bus from Marul to Alpe Laguz, the trail leads us through a beautiful high valley to the Obere Laguzalpe and over the 2,010 m high mountain saddle of the Lange Furka to the Freiburger Hütte in the picturesque Lechquellengebirge directly by Lake Formarinsee and the Rote Wand. With a bit of luck, we will not only see typical alpine flowers such as gentian, alpine roses and bluebells, but also marmots and ibexes.

Weekday: Monday

Meeting point: 09:00 at the church in Marul; hiking bus departs at 09:06. Public journey: Country bus line 575 - stop Marul Kriche, change to the hiking bus line 576.

Duration: approx. 6 h

Walking time/elevation gain: approx. 5 h / ascent and descent approx. 460 metres in altitude

Refreshments: before returning to Alpe Laguz, a stop at the Freiburger Hütte is planned, but take a small snack and a drink with you.
