Passion of Christ Klostertal
Every 5 Years in Klösterle am Arlberg
Since its premiere in 2003, the games have provided lasting impressions in front of the breathtaking natural scenery in the rear Klostertal.
The life and death of Jesus is impressively staged by around 140 to 180 voluntary lay actors from the Klostertal.
Since 2007, the Passion plays are performed every five years. In front of the open-air backdrop of Klösterle am Arlberg with a covered auditorium, a very independent staging was created, which is second to none.
Passion Plays
The Passion Play is held every four to five years. The last Passion Play in Klostertal took place in 2023. In the summer months from July to August, the Passion Play could be seen at the weekends.
