Formarinsee und Rote Wand

The picturesque Formarin Lake shimmers emerald green under the mighty Red Wall - a natural jewel of a special kind. And not only the Klostertaler and Vorarlberger see it that way: In October 2015, Lake Formarinsee and the Rote Wand were voted Austria's most beautiful square as part of the ORF television programme "9 Places, 9 Treasures". After the Formarinsee and the Rote Wand had won the preliminary round in their own country, the region around the Formarinsee was able to assert itself throughout Austria against the eight other federal states.
