Bludenz Ski Carousel
In Bludenz you can experience very varied skiing pleasure. Ten ski areas with a total of over 200 lifts and around 1,000 kilometers of slopes can be reached from the city in just a few minutes by car.
Directly opposite Bludenz is the Brandnertal ski area with slopes at Loischkopf, Niggenkopf and the Palüd area. For beginners and demanding skiers, but especially for families, no wishes remain unfulfilled here.
In Klostertal, at the foot of the Arlberg, lies the Sonnenkopf ski area with challenging deep snow slopes and great carving slopes. Due to the altitude of up to 2,300 m, the Sonnenkopf is one of the few natural snow ski areas and is extremely snow-sure.
Ski Area Faschina with Connection to Damüls-Mellau
The family-friendly skiing area Faschina offers snow-sure slopes in all degrees of difficulty. Due to the connection to Damüls-Mellau, a total of over 100 kilometers of slopes await you.
The gondola lift takes you directly from the village to the family-friendly Sonntag-Stein ski area. In addition to snowboarders and skiers, winter hikers, snowshoe hikers and tobogganers can also enjoy the nativeness here.
The ski area Raggal with its three ski lifts exists for almost 50 years and is in the vacation village Raggal directly in front of the door. It is very inexpensive for beginners and families through the points card.
The Montafon extends from Bludenz to the Silvretta. There you can expect with the ski areas Golm, Silvretta-Montafon, Gargellen, Kristberg and Silvretta-Bielderhöhe 60 cable cars and lifts with over 225 kilometers of slopes.
Ski Arlberg (incl. Albona/Valfagehr) is the largest connected ski area in Austria and the fifth largest in the world. Here you can expect 305 kilometers of downhill skiing and thus a skiing pleasure in a class of its own. Especially in spring, the adjacent ski area Albona/Valfagehr in Stuben am Arlberg is considered an insider tip.
