Bludenz in winter: No ski day is like any other. Ten ski areas with a total of over 200 lifts and around 1,000 kilometers of slopes can be reached from here in just a few minutes by car.
Directly opposite the town is the Brandnertal ski area with slopes at Loischkopf, Niggenkopf and the Palüd area. For beginners and demanding skiers, but especially for families, no wishes remain unfulfilled here. In the Klostertal, near the Arlberg, you will find the Sonnenkopf ski area with challenging deep snow slopes and great carving slopes. And only a short distance from the Klostertal, starting in Stuben, you will find "Ski Arlberg", the largest connected ski area in Austria, which can be easily reached by public transport.
The ski areas in the Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal Faschina, Sonntag-Stein, Raggal and the adjacent ski area Damüls offer every skier the right downhill run. Families will also find their way around the clearly laid out areas.
Within reach are the top ski areas of Golm/Tschagguns, Silvretta Montafon/Schruns and St. Gallenkirch and the ski area of Gargellen in the Montafon.
