Classical concert: Christian Wachter

The pianist Christian Wachter comes from Bludenz and lives in Paris. He received his first piano lessons in Bludenz at the age of nine. At the age of 14, he was already a junior student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Prof. Jan Jiracek) and subsequently completed his final studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot with Réna Shershevskaya and Nelson delle Vigne. Since 2022 Christian is Artist in Residence at the Théâtre de Bligny in Paris. He is supported by the Raoul Follereau Foundation, for which he has performed several benefit concerts, as well as for the “Association Action Education”. Christian has taken part in festivals in the USA (West Palm Beach under the direction of Philippe Entremont), Russia and Spain and can currently be heard both solo and with chamber music in international concert halls.
