Canvas lounge: 'Hors Saison'

In 18th century Denmark, King Frederik V declared that the wild moors of Jutland must be tamed, cultivated and settled in order to spread civilisation and raise new taxes for the royal family. But no one dared to obey the king's decree. It is only in the late summer of 1755 that a lone soldier named Ludvig von Kahlen (Mads Mikkelsen) decides to follow his dream and set out for the moors in the hope that it will bring him wealth and honour. But what awaits him are brutal highwaymen and ravenous wolves wreaking havoc on the wild land. A battle for survival begins - especially against the merciless nature...
